Our Mission
To fulfill our students’ dreams with professionalism, integrity, and dedication.
What EXACTLY we do
Future IntEdu (FIE) is looking for families just like yours, loving and nurturing. We are searching for families who are willing to accept and host foreign high school students. We are keen on selecting families that can provide hospitality and love towards these kids as if they were your own. This can be a great experience not only for our students, but it can be an enrichment towards your family as well.
Who are our students
FIE students consist of both males and females, age ranging from 13-18. They are coming from all different parts of China. Moving from one continent to another is an exciting opportunity, but it can also be quite challenging.
How you can help
Students all have the same dream of being able to live in another country and experience American Culture. We believe that living with your families can help to improve their English speaking skills, and immerse into American culture.

1. How old are FIE students?
Most of our students are in the age range between 13 and 18, from 7th to 12th grade.
2. What is Expected of Host Families?
Host families are expected to welcome an international student into their home as a member of the family and provide a caring home environment.
3. Do FIE students have Health Insurance
Yes, by law all of our international students are required to have health insurance. FIE will purchase medical insurance for all our Chinese students and provide the insurance card / information to our host families.
4. What will FIE students eat?
Usually, our students will try to get used to the American food which is part of American culture; therefore, the students will try to eat what the host families eat at home, and some students may also cook Chinese / American food together during weekends and school holidays. Food allergy information (if any) will be sent to the host families in advance.
5. May we take the student with us for vacation?
Yes, it would be great if you could go for vacation together with your family. Actually, we always encourage our students to be involved in such family events. Students will pay their own trip costs like plane tickets and hotels etc. In case you cannot take the student or the student could not go with you for the vacation, you could have a friend or family member to live with the student (with approval from FIE) or we could place the student to a temporary host family.
6. What are the Financial Arrangements for Host Families?
Students have their own funds available for expenses for which the host family is not responsible (for example, clothing, lunches at school, entertainment, personal items, etc.). Host families are compensated to offset expenses to provide room and board.
7. What Are the Major Challenges for Host Families?
Most challenges involve cultural differences in communication styles or customs. Many families who have experienced such challenges find that, in time, they are resolved with patience and clear communication.
8. How many years would FIE students stay in the U.S.?
Basically, our Chinese students will graduate from the high schools in the U.S. and then complete their university studies before they return to work in China. Therefore, most of them will plan to stay in the U.S. for 5-10 years.
9. How long could we host the same student?
Most of our current host families will host the same students again for the following year. As long as both the student and the host family like each other, the student will stay with the same host family until she/he graduates from high school.
